Developed by performance management expert Dick Grote, the GroteApproach system
helps organizations transform performance management from a frenzied series of
events to a well-defined, continuous, and effective process.

With this new version, managers and employees can create employee development plans
for important competencies and soft skills throughout the entire review cycle.
Development objectives, expected outcomes, associated key activities and due dates
can all be established and tracked in the system.

Development plan items can be created at the beginning of the review period, during
the year as employee performance is observed, and during assessment time based on
specific competency scores received by the employee.
